Hello everyone! I grew up in Charlotte, NC. I live in Hillsborough with my husband Josh, son Atlas, and our fur/scaled  children -Nola (pitopotamus) and Oggy(bearded dragon). I graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte -Go Forty-Niners! This will be my 10th year teaching. 

I'm incredibly excited to begin my fourth year at River Park Elementary! My husband is a Hillsborough local and attended River Park when he was in elementary school! Josh and I have been involved with the Hillsborough Arts Council and have a deep love of our community. We are always on the lookout for ways to get more involved, so please let me know of any opportunities!

I enjoy being out in nature and learning! Some of my favorite local places are Occoneechee Mountain hiking trail, the Old Speedway trail, and the Riverwalk Greenway (Atlas' favorite). I am an eternal learner and never pass up an opportunity to grow and absorb new knowledge. I look forward to working with students, fostering their curiosity and challenging them to be inquisitive!
