Oak Hills: Meet the Staff

Hello Oak Hills Families!  My name is Bryce Phillips and it is a privilege working within Club Oak Park at the Oak Park Unified School District.  I am a local to the Conejo Valley, growing up in Newbury Park and graduating with a BA in Liberal Arts from Cal State Northridge.  Before starting with Club Oak Park, I was with the Literacy team here at Oak Hills Elementary and this will be my 7th year with the district as a whole. I enjoy hiking our beautiful trails, watching/playing sports, and just enjoying the lovely weather this area has to offer.   Working with kids is my passion and I enjoy watching them become better people every single day!  I love being a part of this community and looking forward to another great year!

Hi! My name is Jacq and I am super stoked to begin my second year as Assistant Site Leader for Club Oak Hills! 

I previously worked as a Mentor with Club and as the PE Assistant at Red Oak Elementary. Prior to coming to OPUSD I earned a BA in Psychology from UC Davis and worked in a child care program with the YMCA. I am beyond excited to continue working with the children in this district and getting to know the families! 

My name is Morgan Weiss and I have been with the Club Oak Park family since 2019.  

This year, I will be providing leadership for all Club Oak Park sites and will be providing support in a variety of ways.  In addition, I will have a primary focus on the TK program and I am so excited to be working with the little ones. I have a degree in Family and Child Development from Arizona State University and have been working with children for 15+ years.  

I absolutely love working with children and have developed numerous after-school programs for many different ages. I love spending time with my children and our family and friends. We enjoy Sunday BBQs as well as going to the beach. My eldest daughter will be joining the OPUSD family this year as well! I can’t wait to meet all those I have not yet met and I am looking forward to a fun year together! Please come say hello!
