CPR + First Aid Training Information Course Format:
This is a blended learning course that includes both an online training component and an in-person skills session facilitated by Nurse Allie LeVine
The online course must be completed before attending the in-person session. Sign-ups for the in-person class -------------->
The online course may take 2–5 hours to complete, depending on your learning style. You may start and stop the course as needed.
In-Person Skills Session: The skills portion is hands-on and involves kneeling, standing, bending, and pushing. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to practice CPR techniques on training manikins on the floor.
Certification: Upon completion of both the online and in-person components, participants will receive a two-year certification in Adult & Child CPR/AED and Standard First Aid.
Registration: Within two days of registering, Nurse LeVine will email you instructions on how to access the online course.
Required Roles: The following positions are required to have current CPR + First Aid certification:
Office Managers
Extended Care Site Leaders
Extended Care Assistant Site Leaders (The Club)
Student Services Assistants
Health Techs
Campus Supervisors
Preschool Extended Care Assistants
Instructional Aides in PE
PE Teachers
Teachers who accompany children on overnight or day field trips
Coaches
Campus Supervisor Substitutes
