OPUSD uses the IXL platform to universally screen all middle school students in Math, administering the diagnostic assessment twice a year. The results help identify students who may benefit from Tier 2 or Tier 3 intervention and provide each student with a personalized skill plan designed to support growth and academic success. IXL also offers actionable insights that inform classroom instruction and targeted support strategies.
ALEKS is used to help 6th-grade students who need additional practice or instruction in mathematics.
