*All concerts above take place in our OPMS Auditorium except the November 5th Pops Concert!*
For 6th and 7th grade, due to the large amount of students involved in chorus, we have split concerts. Meaning, there will be two concerts in the same night. Both concerts will be exactly the same, however there will be different students performing on each one. Closer to the concerts we will post the schedule and student name rosters so the students, parents and family members will know which concert they need to attend and plan accordingly.
The student roster will be emailed to you from your child's chorus teacher approximately one month before the concert. Your child should only be attending their "color" group concert. These rosters are carefully planned out by the chorus teacher to ensure that each group will sound equal. If there is a need to switch to the other "color", please contact your child's teacher ASAP. Please click the links below as they become active about a month before our spring concerts!
*If you are attending the 6:30 concert, arrive at 6:15. After the concert is finished, please leave as soon as possible in order to free up auditorium seats & parking spots for next concert. *
*If you are attending the 7:40 concert, please do NOT arrive earlier than 7:25. If too many families arrive early, there will be traffic and parking problems due to the first concert finishing.*
Concerts are an integral part of our program at OPMS!
They serve many purposes for our students, parents, and teachers!
1. Our students are given the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments
2. They are working together toward a common goal as a team
3. Present themselves in a public form using skill sets they develop at school
4. Parents & Teachers enjoy watching the students in a different light perform!
