The OPMS chess tournament will crown one chess champion for the year from our student body.
The tournament is open to students of all ability levels. However, only students who have signed up can participate in the tournament.

This year, the entire tournament will take place during the student half days on December 4th and 5th. Students will report to the library after homeroom and will return to class only when the tournament is complete.
The tournament will be run as Swiss style. However, modifications (such as adding a single elimination round) may be introduced as needed for participant count.
