E-books and audiobooks!

Orchard Park Middle School students have many options to find reading materials, even when they aren't in school.

These systems are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and during school breaks.

If you are having difficulty logging in, you can also try using Clever.

Sora is the school equivalent of Libby for public libraries. However, materials available in Sora are sorted by grade level. Books are sorted into elementary, middle school, and high school appropriate texts and students only have access to their grade level and below.

Students login using their school Google ID and can download the Sora app on any Android or Apple device. Sora is accessible on any internet-connected device by visiting https://soraapp.com/.

Students can also add additional library systems, such as the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, to their app using their library card. You can apply for a public library card here.

Comics Plus is a simultaneous access system for reading graphic novels. Students can login using their school Google ID. Simultaneous access means that all materials are available all the time. If you see it, you can read it!

Our Comics Plus collection is designed for middle school students.

Learning Ally is a simultaneous access system which pairs the audio of a book being read with the printed text on the screen. Reading while being able to hear the words read aloud may benefit a wide variety of students.

The best way to access Learning Ally is to link from Clever.
