Instructions:

1. Take one of the blank white placemats from the stack on the shelf. 

2. Plan out your design. Use your creativity!
   Examples: Flowers, landscapes, animals, sports, sunshine, and positive messages! 

3. Give your design some color. We have colored pencils for you to use in the library, but feel free to use your own markers, crayons, etc.

4. You can include your first name, but please do not include your last name. 

5. When you have finished, turn your placemat in to Mr. Kloster, Mrs. Smith, or Mrs. Werner so it can be laminted and sent to Meals on Wheels!

Why placemats?

Meals on Wheels serves more than 250 million meals every year to senior citizens in the United States. Delivered meals help seniors live more independently and provide a social connection. A placemat delivered with their meal can brighten their day!

There are currently about 12 million seniors in the United States who are threatened by or experience hunger. Meals on Wheels is at work in our community to serve those seniors, and you can help.
