eTrike Background:
The eTrike was found during the summer of 2024 by Mr. Johnson in Bradford, Pennsylvania. This machine was Frankensteined together by someone who welded the front end of a 50cc kids quad to the backend of a Monster Mega Moto MMB80 80cc MMB105 105cc or Coleman Realtree RB100 RT100 minibike. Currently the eTrike has functioning rear brakes, front steering, front shocks, and 3 good tires.
Our Goal:
This year's Engineering Club project is to refurbish and convert the eTrike into an operational dc electric powered machine.
Our Needs:
Front hand grips
Replace the front metal fenders with safer plastic fenders.
Reweld and grind the joints from the original welding job.
Repaint the eTrike.
Replace worn out ball joints.
Find a sufficient dc electric motor to power the eTrike.
Find a sufficient battery power supply to power the dc electric motor.
Find a high speed motor controller.
Find an electric motor throttle.
Rebuild and replace the current seat.
