New at Ope this fall – Beaver Buddy weekends!
The Beaver Buddy program supports new beavers and Scouters visiting Ope from planning to final cabin departure while developing skills to return with confidence.
Program starts before camp with planning meetings with the scouting team. Weekly meeting plans will be shared with the scouters for preparing themselves and the beavers for camp. Topics covered include safety, activities, packing, catering booking, and schedule planning.
Weekends available: October 4-5, November 1-2, November 22-23, December 6-7.
How it works: Email Courtney @ vintageturtle@hotmail.com to confirm availability on the weekend you selected. Then book your site/building and catering the regular way. Courtney will coordinate the lead up activities and weekend support once your spot is confirmed.
There is no additional cost for this program besides the rates you would pay for a regular weekend. This is a pilot program for Fall 2025."
