Focus your time and energy while at Camp Opemikon on activities and program for your group by having the Camp Opemikon Rover Crew prepare tasty meals for you!

The Opemikon Rover Crew has been providing service to camp since 1960 and one of their core service offerings is to cater for groups.  The Crew youth obtain their Food Handler's certification and gain valuable experience in operating a commercial kitchen.


Full weekend (Friday Mug up to Sunday Breakfast) $50/person (plus HST)

Partial weekend (Saturday Lunch to Sunday Breakfast) $40/person (plus HST)


Please note that we can't always guarantee that we'll have youth & volunteers to support your request for catering, so be sure to request catering as far in advance as possible.

Dietary accommodations - Allergies

Vegetarian: Tempeh bacon, beyond meat burger, tofu dog, black bean burger, beyond meat bratwurst sausage, beyond meat sausage round, tofu deli meat

Gluten free: Most of the vegetarian options are also GF, we also have GF bread, buns, GF breaded chicken, GF cookies

Allergies: Our menu items are all peanut free and normally we can accommodate most sensitivities.  However, if you have someone with severe allergies, then please contact the Crew to discuss options (crew@opemikon.org)

Important information

Timeline

>We ask for estimated numbers when you submit your catering request form

>We will confirm that we can accommodate your request no later than 2 weeks prior to your weekend stay

>We need your final numbers no later than the Sunday prior to your weekend stay

Invoicing

>You'll be invoiced the Monday prior to your weekend stay, based on the final numbers submitted on the Sunday prior your weekend stay

>Should your numbers go down, please let us know, but we cannot refund you at this point as we've already ordered the food

>Should your numbers go up, again, please let us know and we'll advise you if we can accommodate.  NOTE: you'll also receive an updated invoice

Payment

Fees owing for the catering your group has requested will be added to your online camp booking reservation after the weekend your stay. A copy of the revised invoice will be emailed directly from the booking system to the group.

To pay the revised invoice, please follow the instructions below to login or, to create your account if you don’t already have one set up in the Doubleknot reservation system:

a. Follow this link to the Doubleknot website and click “Log in”: Doubleknot

b. Click “Need help logging on?”

c. Enter your e-mail address in the box to receive a password creation e-mail and complete the necessary account set up. Open the e-mail and follow the instructions provided by Doubleknot.

d. Once logged into your account click “Pay Now” next to your booking details and continue through the payment process.
