Fantasy Reading and Writing

In this unit, students will work collaboratively in book clubs as they read fantasy novels. Fantasy novels teach kids to deal with complexity because just like the characters in these novels, students will need to show a growth mindset.

Students will they apply what they notice in their fantasy novels to their own writing to create original, fantasy stories.
