There are three types of assessments in this course: Formative and Summative assessments of the supervisory competencies and two written assignments.
Summative Assessments: These occur twice during the course, each worth 30% of the final grade. Summative assessments are conducted solely by the faculty supervisor.
Formative Assessments: These assessments are in a free-text format and are to be completed by the students you are supervising. Please encourage your students to fill these out, as they provide valuable feedback on your supervisory skills.
Only I will review these assessments, and their purpose is purely formative: to support your professional growth and development. Once I have reviewed the content, I will schedule a meeting with you to debrief based on the feedback provided and my own notes.
These assessments need to be completed each milestone/deliverable within the HLSC/KINE 4998/4999 is submitted by the undergraduate students.Â
In addition to these assessments, each graduate student is required to submit:
Supervisory Philosophy: Worth 20% of the final grade, marked by the course instructor.
Reflective Journal: Worth 20% of the final grade, marked by the course instructor.
Please send these to me via email.
