Faculty

Director and Advisor

Diane Tepylo, BA Director

Diane is from BC's north coast and the first in her immediate family to graduate high school. She went to university at the urging of her secondary guidance counsellor who argued with my love of learning, "You should be working at a university". He was right, but it took her 35 years, and numerous jobs to realize it.  She worked in retail, aquatics, recreation, libraries and taught at the college level before teaching in K-12 for 20 years. She kept going back to school, completing her MA and PhD while working part-time and looking after her family.    Diane teaches and researches Educational Technology, especially for coding and mathematics.
