The Senior High School (SHS) Program of Don Bosco Technical College commits itself to the goal of forming and educating competent students who:

  • Live the spirit of servant leadership in the community as life-long learners and mature Christians who assert authentic Filipino values and manifesting the Salesian spirit in their everyday affairs.
  • Continuously strive to be qualified and competent in their chosen career track that would enable them to be ready for higher education or for employment.
  • Develop life and career skills, specifically on information, media and technology, learning and innovation, and effective communication.
  • Grow in collaboration and solidarity with their fellowmen and with the environment for the common good, manifested in a shared social responsibility.

DBTC Senior High School Program offers the following Tracks

GAS - General Academic Strand

The GAS Strand provides the students general areas of study with specialized subjects taken from other strands: Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction from STEM; Applied Economics and Organization & Management from ABM; Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences and Philippine Politics and Governance from HUMMS.

DBTC is offering Benchwork as a preparatory subject for Mechanical Technology, Drafting, Robotics 1 and Robotics 2, which incorporates Electrical, Electronics and Computer Technology.

Students may take college courses in Accountancy and Business Management, Humanities, Engineering and other science-related courses.





DMT: Digital Media Technology

The Digital Media Technology strand enables the learners to explore a range of innovative skills applied multimedia industries today. Both principles and skill-based learning aim to provide the students the opportunity to develop and enhance their competencies and skills in animation, photography, game development, print, web design, audio and video design from pre-production to post production. A DMT student can take the following Career paths: 2D and 3D Animator, Film-maker, Computer Games Developer, Computer Programmer, Film Effects Developer, Multimedia Consultant, Special Effects Director.


ABM: Accountancy, Business and Management

The ABM strand prepares the Senior High School students for business-related courses in college with subjects in Accountancy, Business Math, Business Finance, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, Applied Economics, Marketing and. The students are also introduced to use of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), a computer software used in many business establishments today. Furthermore, the ABM curriculum is enhanced by subjects in Technical Drafting and Web Publishing. Students taking ABM can take these courses in college: BS Entrepreneurship, BS Business Administration, SBA Economics, BSBA Marketing Management, BS Human Resource Management and BS in Accountancy.


STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

The STEM Strand equips the student with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude for science-oriented courses in College by providing a solid foundation in Math with Calculus and Science with Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Students who finish STEM can follow a career path in the field of Education, Engineering, Architecture, Healthcare, Information Technology, Mathematics and Science. The STEM curriculum is enhanced by a technical subject in Robotics, which further develops the skills acquired in Industrial Electricity, Electronics and Computer Technology.
