Omro Middle School and High School share a library that has a collection of over 18,000 books. We have a wide variety of fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, playaways, and a reference and career section for students to access. Browse our library catalog for books that you would like to read. Place a hold and Mrs. Gee will email you when your book is ready to be picked up in the library.
How to Sign in to your Destiny account:
Select School - Omro Middle/High School
Click login in the upper right corner - You can either sign in with your email or the first part of your email (ex. 28swrig) and your password you use to login to your Chromebook.
Click on Catalog and search by title, author, keyword or subject.
When you find the book you are looking for click on the title and click "Hold It" on the right side of the page.
Mrs. Gee will email you when it is ready to pick up in the library or if you are a virtual student you will pick it up in the Main Office.
Want to see what you have checked out? Click on the "My Info" tab at the top of the page to see what books you have checked out and their due dates.
Sora is a great source for eBooks and Audiobooks.

Wisconsin DPI, CESA and WiLS have partnered together to provide a shared ebook and audiobook collection for Wisconsin K12 students. Browse the selection to see if there is anything you like.

Teen Book Cloud is a 7-12 grade eBook database where you can read instantly from your Chromebook.

Don't have a library card? That's okay! Click here to sign up for a temporary one but make sure to stop by in person before 30 days to finalize your application. You will need a photo ID and proof of your current address. If you are under the age of 18 you will need a parent or guardian to sign up with you.

Our Graphic Novel section has some of our most popular titles checked out by students. They include fiction, non-fiction and many are remakes of popular books. Students gravitate towards these as they tell an interesting story but also get to admire the wonderful artwork included in them.

The John Newbery Medal
The Newbery Medal is awarded in January each year by the American Library Association for the most distinguished American children's book published the previous year.
Caldecott Medal
The Randolph Caldecott Medal, frequently shortened to just the Caldecott, annually recognizes the preceding year's "most distinguished American picture book for children". It is awarded to the illustrator by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association.
Coretta Scott King Award
The Coretta Scott King Book Awards are given annually to outstanding African American authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults that demonstrate an appreciation of African American culture and universal human values. The award commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and honors his wife, Mrs. Coretta Scott King, for her courage and determination to continue the work for peace and world brotherhood.
National Book Award
National Book Awards, annual awards given to books of the highest quality written by Americans and published by American publishers. The awards were founded in 1950 by the American Book Publishers Council, American Booksellers Association, and Book Manufacturers Institute.
William C. Morris Debut YA Award
The William C. Morris YA Debut Award, first awarded in 2009, honors a debut book published by a first-time author writing for teens and celebrating impressive new voices in young adult literature.
Pulitzer Prize
Joseph Pulitzer, a renowned journalist, established this award in 1917. The Pulitzer Prize is an award for achievements in newspaper, magazine and online journalism, literature and musical composition within the United States.
Geisel Award
The Theodor Seuss Geisel Award is a literary award by the American Library Association that annually recognizes the "author and illustrator of the most distinguished book for beginning readers published in English in the United States during the preceding year."
Edgar Awards
Mystery Writers of America is the premier organization for mystery writers, professionals allied to the crime writing field, aspiring crime writers, and those who are devoted to the genre. MWA is dedicated to promoting higher regard for crime writing and recognition and respect for those who write within the genre. Each Spring, Mystery Writers of America present the Edgar® Awards, widely acknowledged to be the most prestigious awards in the genre.
