MATH - Pictograph
Pictographs are the way to explain things using pictures rather than writing everything in words. In short it is a way of showing data using images. Kids like images and they make the study more entertaining. So our learners enjoyed doing the activity on seesaw as they showed the data of different landforms by dragging them to the right column and eventually adding them up.
MATH - Patterns
Hitansh designed his own patterns of ABAB on his fish
Divyansh created his own patterns AB, AB on his fish
Shriyans beautifully used Seesaw tools to create his patterns on the fish template.
Gauri has made various patterns like ABC, ABCC and ABAB on her fish template.
Children love to find patterns in the world around them. Patterns help children understand change and that things happen over time. Patterns help children make predictions because they begin to understand what comes next. They also help children learn how to make logical connections and use reasoning skills. If children understand patterns, they will be able to describe them, reproduce them, extend them, fill in missing elements, and create new patterns. Our learners were introduced to the story of ‘Pattern Fish”. Where they saw different kinds of patterns.
Shriyans was able to complete the patterns
Gauri was able to identify the missing pattern.

Our learners explored different kinds of materials, selected one and shared about its properties in the class through ‘SHOW and TELL’.
