Parent/Guardian Connections

Parents/Guardians work with the Family Support Coordinator to:

• Ensure your cell phone number, address, and additional emergency contact person is updated in the Pathways Parent Portal

• Obtain a parent/guardian account for your student's online curriculum: TK-5-Accelerate and Grades 6-12 Flexpoint to support your student in completing the weekly classwork 

• Attend the Teacher Advisor meetings with your student(s)

• Review OGCS policies and handbooks including the requirement of completing a minimum of 80% of assigned work each week AND working daily in the online curriculum 

• Support student participation in all required assessments

• Access the Local Control Accountability Plan

• Participate in the quarterly Parent Advisory meetings
