About Mrs. Powis

I have been teaching at Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School for 9 years. I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Music with a focus on Voice. I am currently working on my Master's degree at Notre Dame University and hope to receive a degree in Educational Leadership with an Admin 1 certificate.  In addition to teaching music Prek-8, I also teach Library/Media to Prek-5. I am a part of the Marketing and Advancement team as well. Currently, I am serving as the 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher this School Year 23-24. 

I have lived in the Dundalk community all my life and attended OLHSL from Kindergarten-5th Grade. I currently reside in Sparrows Point with my husband who teaches Instrumental Music at a local Public Middle School and our 2 year old son. We love everything about this community and look forward to continuing making connections.
