Early Childhood Education
Oklahoma City Public Schools' Early Childhood Department provides comprehensive services for families with young children birth to age 8 years. The programs provided by the district include parent education, child care, and support of PreK through 2nd grade classrooms.

OKCPS provides early learning opportunities for OKCPS' staff and student children, ages birth to 4-years-old. If you are an OKCPS student or staff member and are in need of childcare, contact us!
Parents/ Guardians with children who are four (4) on or before September 1, 2022 may register for the Pre-Kindergarten Program. Tuition is free for the 4-year-old program and there is no waiting list.
Parents/ Guardians with children who are five (5) on or before September 1, 2022 and did not attend an OKCPS school in the previous school year may register during the pre-registration period.
Parents as Teachers
Parents as Teachers offers a unique prenatal to five-year-old program which provides parents with valuable information and support.
