Early Childhood Education
Oklahoma City Public Schools' Early Childhood Department provides comprehensive services for families with young children birth to age 8 years. The programs provided by the district include parent education, child care, and support of PreK through 2nd grade classrooms.

Childcare
OKCPS provides early learning opportunities for OKCPS' staff and student children, ages birth to 4-years-old. If you are an OKCPS student or staff member and are in need of childcare, contact us!
Pre-Kindergarten
Parents/ Guardians with children who are four (4) on or before September 1 may register for the Pre-Kindergarten Program. Tuition is free for the 4-year-old program and there is no waiting list.
Kindergarten
Parents/ Guardians with children who are five (5) on or before September 1 and did not attend an OKCPS school in the previous school year may register during the registration period.
Parents as Teachers
Parents as Teachers offers a unique prenatal to five-year-old program which provides parents with valuable information and support.
Ready for Kindergarten!
Ready for Kindergarten is a unique family-based, school readiness program that arms you with information, activities, and materials to use with your young child.
Beautiful Beginnings
Beautiful Beginnings is a Play and Learn activity group for you and your young child to engage and grow together available at a school near you!
