About me

My name is Hilary DeMers. I teach TV Production (WBGI), Digital Design 1 (Adobe Photoshop), and Digital Design 2 (Adobe Illustrator) at Choctawhatchee High School and I am excited to add Yearbook, Art, and Creative Photography to my schedule!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a specialization in Media Production from Florida State University. I then went on to earn my Masters of Education with a specialization in Instructional Technology from University of West Florida. I recently completed my second masters degree in Educational Leadership from UWF!

Class overview

My goal is to provide a safe learning environment where all students feel valued and receive the highest education I am capable of providing. I value continuous education and make it a priority to be well educated in the subjects I teach.

This year I am teaching Broadcast Journalism (WBGI) and Yearbook, Digital Design 1 (Photoshop) and Digital Design 2 (Illustrator) as well as 2D Studio Art, 2D Studio Art 3 Honors, Portfolio, and Creative Photography. Some of these subjects are new to me but I am excited for the new challenge!
