The SECRETARY is responsible for documenting and maintaining MPO communications. As the secretary, you can expect to spend time:
● Developing and sending timely, regular email communications to drive awareness and engagement
● Ensuring monthly meeting procedures, including timely development and distribution of meeting agendas, ensuring meeting flow follows agenda, ensure membership adoption of previous meeting notes, keeping detailed notes of committee reports and meeting discussions, and distributing notes in a timely manner
● Maintaining administrative documentation for the organization and its owned properties, such as insurance policies, equipment titles, all licenses, and certifications
● Maintaining and updating communication distribution lists
● Keeping up-to-date contact information for all band parents
● Working with various committees to gather and promote information to support activities
● Working with webmaster and social media manager to ensure communications are published and accurate
