Definition:

Excessive anxiety and worry, occurring more days than not for at least 6 months, about a number of events or activities. It is difficult to control the worry. You may feel:

  • restless or on edge

  • easily fatigued

  • difficulty with concentrating

  • irritable

  • muscle tension

  • sleep disturbance
