The Arkansas LEARNS Act provides homeschool families with funding to be used for tuition, curriculum, activities, and tutoring at the discretion of the parents/guardians. The application for these funds open in March and begin distribution in August for the following school year. The funds are dispersed quarterly for parents through an online program known as ClassWallet.
Annual Tuiton: $10,208
EFA Funds $7, 208
Remainder: $3000
We divide the remaining $3000 into 12 month payments equaling $250/month for accepted families.
We offer a sibling discount that begins at $25 and increases by $25 for every additional student.
Tuition covers teacher salary, curriculum and supplies needed for the school year, and building overhead.
Tuition is to be paid on the 1st of the month. Any payment made after the 5th of the month is subject to a $25 late fee. If payment is not paid by the 15th, further action such as unenrollment may be required.
Withdrawal Policy: Families must provide one month (4 weeks) written notice before the end of quarter to withdraw a student mid-year. No out-of-pocket tuition will be issued for the month of withdrawal; in addition, no EFA refunds will be issued for the current paid quarter unless otherwise stated by the LEARNS Act. Curriculum and supplies covered by tuition payment belong to the school as well and will not be released to the student upon withdrawal. Ohana Farms Microschool will comply with all Arkansas Department of Education rules and regulations concerning EFA funds.
