Students will receive instruction from a staff consisting of licensed teachers and individuals with experience, training, and background in education. Abeka curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in academics alongside Christian values and character. Abeka uses the spiral method of learning, which focuses on mastery of content with repetition and reinforcement, even when introducting new concepts. Students who receive their education through Abeka consistently score 1-2 grade levels higher than their public school educated peers.
Drop-off begins at 8:30am. The school day will begin at 9:00am with prayer and our morning meeting. The school day will end at 2:30pm. Pick-up will begin promptly after dismissal.
Our school week is Monday-Thursday.
In addition to curriculum, students will have a special emphasis in Bible, art, STEM, project-based learning, and lots and lots of outside play. We have a portion of our day specifically dedicated to life skills. This will include things such as budgeting and finance, canning, homekeeping, car maintenance, gardening, cooking, sewing, fishing, and many, many others.
