Sybil the Scientist

Kindergarten students dipped their toes into the idea of analogies. They were asked to find pairs of images that had a similar connection. There were more than one way to interpret the cards, so it was interesting to hear reasons for the matches.

First grade students took the idea of analogies to the next level by finding two pairs of cards and placing them in the correct order on the analogy card. You can see one example is "one hand is to two hands as 5 is to 10" because one hand has 5 fingers and two hands have 10 fingers.
