Important Announcements:

Symphonic Band (attendance is expected)

Veterans Day Celebration
Tuesday, November 11 at Oak Grove School
Call Time: 7:30 a.m. (regular rehearsal time)
Attire: Red, white, and/or blue. 8th graders should wear their presentation outfits.

Festival at LHS
Wednesday, November 19 — All-day field trip

• AM Call Time: 8:15 a.m. — Students will enter the building after AM recess and come to the band room (no morning rehearsal).
  Student attendance will be given to the office.

• We will be back to school around 2:30 p.m. to finish the school day.

• PM Call Time: 6:30 p.m. in the LHS Auditorium
  Performance Location: Libertyville High School Gym (Concert Start is 7 p.m.)
  Attire: Dress your best.

Concert Band

• There will be no rehearsal on Tuesday, November 11 due to the Veterans Day celebration.

• Students need Essential Elements Book 2 (red stripe on the cover, also known as “the red book”) by Wednesday, November 12.
  Links for each instrument can be found under the announcements and concert schedule.

Musician Call Time: 6:00 p.m.
Doors Open: 6:15 p.m.
Warm-Up Locations:

• Beginning Band – Band Room

• Concert Band & Jazz Band – Small (Rubber) Gym

 Attire: Dress your best with festive holiday flair!
(Please avoid flashing lights or sounds, and ideally no jeans or gym shoes.)
