Use this tool to see how much federal student aid you may be eligible for in the 2024–25 award year. Note: This tool estimates the Student Aid Index (SAI) for the 2024–25 award year, not the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) for the 2023–24 award year.

After you submit your FAFSA form, you’ll get a SAR, an electronic or paper document that summarizes the information you reported on your FAFSA form. It includes your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), your estimated eligibility for Federal Pell Grants and federal student loans, and whether you’ve been selected for verification.

Did you know? Your students could save thousands on out-of-state college tuition through the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), the largest regional tuition savings program in the nation.isit wue.wiche.edu
Out-of-state tuition can be anywhere from two to three times more than the cost of in-state tuition. Students who live in the West are eligible to apply for the WUE rate at 170 participating colleges and universities across the region and could pay no more than 150% of in-state tuition. That means more options, more savings, and less student debt!
Learn how you can take advantage of WUE
Watch this short video on how to apply for the WUE rate.
Explore the WUE Tuition Savings Finder online dashboard to see school profiles, eligible majors, and estimated WUE tuition rates and savings at participating schools across 15 states in the West.
