Join us on the South Dakota Mines campus for our STEM summer camps! Our summer camps offer a fun intro to science and engineering. These pre-college experiences are designed to expose students to how science works in the real world by providing exciting hands-on experiences. Day camps are hosted by some of our prestigious faculty whose expertise gives campers a glimpse into STEM careers and gets them excited about their education. Campers participate in on-campus activities and field trips throughout the day.

The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is now accepting applications for a summer learning opportunity for high school students. The Raikes School is hosting its ninth year of “Innovate: The Raikes School Way,” led by Executive Director of the Raikes School, Dr. Steve Cooper. The summer camp was highlighted by Forbes in 2019 and continues to provide high-quality computer science education to interested students!
During the two-week, overnight camp students will:
Develop core programming skills and learn innovation concepts through a project-oriented curriculum
Receive instruction from Raikes School faculty members and experience what classes can be like in the Raikes School
Visit campus research labs and local employer partners
Interact with Raikes School students and staff, all of whom play a key role in the competitive selection process to our program each year

Innovate: The Raikes School Way is a great opportunity for high school students, with priority given to students in the high school graduating class of 2026.
The camp serves students with little to no experience in computing, as well as those looking to enhance their existing computer science skills.
Students in the graduating class of 2027 will be accepted on a space-available basis.
The camp will be held at the Kauffman Academic Residential Center, home of the Raikes School, in the heart of Nebraska's City Campus from July 13-26, 2025.
Cost to attend is $1,995 and covers all housing, meals, instruction, and activities associated with the camp.
Full and partial scholarships are available - students can apply for scholarships through the Summer Camp application.
Priority Application Deadline: March 31, 2025 - Students who submit their application by this priority date will be notified of admission & scholarship decisions by April 11, 2025.
Final Application Deadline: May 1, 2025 - Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis after May 1 as space is available.

Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides academic enrichment programs to advanced learners in grades 1 - 11. Our programs take place at multiple locations in the Twin Cities and there is a residential option for current 8th - 11th grade students to stay in the dorms at Macalester College. Need-based financial aid is available; we encourage all bright and motivated students to apply. This summer we are offering over 100 unique classes in STEM, humanities and the fine arts, all taught by experienced educators. Pilots Pre-College Program is a dynamic, residential summer program at the University of Portland and is designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This immersive experience invites students to explore academic pathways, deepen their sense of purpose, and build community—all while living and learning on our beautiful Catholic campus in Portland, OR.

Students will work in online crews to develop their directing, shooting, and editing skills. They will create a music video, documentary, and narrative film.
ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL SCREENWRITERS WORKSHOP
Students will learn the basic principles of writing for film and television. At the end of the workshop, students will have a short screenplay and a synopsis for a feature film and television series.

Apply for our WashU FLI-In Program!
WashU FLI-In is a special small-group opportunity designed to introduce First-generation and Limited-Income students to the college application process and to WashU. During this three-day program, students will engage in deeper exploration of an academic area of interest (Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering, or PreMed) while experiencing campus life and our vibrant community! We will cover the cost of their roundtrip travel to and from campus, along with housing and meals during their stay.
Attendees will:
Learn about the resources and support available to first-generation and limited-income students.
Spend three days (two nights) on our beautiful campus and get a taste of college life.
Explore St. Louis and take in some of our favorite sites.
Gain expert guidance on sharing their story as part of their college application.
Meet current students, accomplished alumni, and faculty leading in their fields.

Students should choose the program that best suits their academic interest on the application. For each program, they will travel to campus on the first day of the program and stay overnight the first two nights. On the third day, students will participate in an Academic Theme Day with other prospective students.
