Students learn social studies with curriculum from Scholastic, Studies Weekly, and CNN10. Scholastic and CNN10 both highlight current events while the Studies Weekly teach the history of the United States.
There is also social studies embedded into our CKLA curriculum. Students learn about the Inca, Maya, and Aztec civilizations and European history from the 1400s to 1600s.
