The high school marching band is the most active and most publicly seen ensemble in the district. This is a co-curricular class and a varsity-level MSHSAA activity. Marching band begins in the summer with camp and rehearsals, the group performs at varsity home football games, basketball games, marching competitions, parades, and other community events. The marching band season ends in the second quarter of the school year, then transitions to a concert band focus.
