OFMS Bands

Band at the middle school level includes Intro to Band, a quarter-long introductory class, and 6th grade beginning band. Throughout Intro to Band, students will be introduced to woodwind, brass, and percussion instrument families and learn basic music notation. At the end of the quarter, students will choose what instrument they are most interested in playing. In the 6th grade band, students will choose an instrument to learn to play and learn the within an ensemble setting.
