Graduation community service hours must be accrued during the student's 9th-12th grade years
A minimum of 10 hours of community service are required in order to graduate
Volunteer hours must be completed through a non-profit organization/event
If volunteering with a faith-based not-for-profit organization, time spent on religious instruction, ministry, worship services, or any form of proselytizing may not be counted toward meeting the graduation community service requirement
You are volunteering your TIME therefore, you cannot earn hours for donating purchased items
Students must provide proof of earned community service hours via a letter on letterhead from their community service supervisor and include a log sheet
Help decorate a Rose Parade Float
Volunteer at a local public school or library
Volunteer at a local food pantry

One thoughtful card will earn you 1 hour of community service. Share with your counselor for approval before mailing. Email your counselor if you require postage.
