Our Vision
The Library Media Program at Oelwein Community Schools is committed to helping students achieve success in school, be effective users of information and become lifelong learners.
The Oelwein Library Media Curriculum is based on American Association of School Libraries (AASL) Learner Standards, Iowa Core requirements, Iowa 21st Century Standards, and Iowa Computer Science Standards.
Our goal for student learning is to provide activities and lessons so that students can use the library and its resources to help them in their educational needs to be lifelong learners and productive citizens both in the classroom and in their daily lives.
