Objectives

• constructed a XP-15k power supply that featured an output voltage variable from 0 to 15V at 0.3 amperes maximum current

• varying the input ac voltage from 110V to 130V had no effect on the output voltage because of the specifically designed ic circuit used in the xp-15k

• assembled components to the pc board

• mounted transformer and binding posts

• soldered wires and components unto the ic board

• ability to contruct power supply based on schematics presented

• presented as a solo project for graded assignment
