I have always felt that writing is an important skill that everyone needs in order to grow. I still think my writing skills need to improve, but now that I have taken this class I have more tools to fix my writing skills. Also, after writing a variety of essays, I now realize that there are so many ways to get my point across. One thing that I learned from this class and haven't learned in previous classes is to use Grammarly. This tool helped me a lot when revising my essays. Another tool I used in this class was Purdue OWL. When doing my citations for projects or essays I had to fix some of my citations, even after using some citation generators. My writing process has definitely changed after this class. I understand how important the process can be and that if I skip any steps it will hurt the quality of my writing. As I continue my academic career I hope to use what I have learned in this class to write stronger essays.
