My name is Kenny Wilcox and I am currently a senior at Old Dominion University, studying English and history, with an expected graduation date of December 2026. Before my time at ODU, I attended Tidewater Community College and graduated high school in Chesapeake, Virginia.

In my research I focus on Norfolk's queer history, including various social groups, businesses, and publications. I also focus on America's queer history before the Stonewall Riots and the various publications associated with that time.

I believe, like many do, that our history is what makes us; preserving the stories and struggles of those who came before us is one of the most important duties for us to do.
