"I’m a junior here at ODU double majoring and double minoring in English Literature and Asian Studies and Chinese Studies and Philosophy respectively. After college I plan to go to grad school and get my masters in English Literature and/or International Relations. My hobbies are language learning, contemplating life, and trying teas. I enjoy reading, journaling, listening to music, eating, and sleeping. I’m currently obsessed with drinking tea after kicking my years long coffee addiction to the curb. Finally, I have recently been getting into political and racial activism and it’s a bit of a pet project of mine that I hope to make a core part of my life."
Timothy Sellers
"I am from Alexandria, Virginia. I major in Civil Engineering Technology here at ODU. I am focused on becoming an architect/civil engineer and building and designing residential communities. I enjoy playing basketball, listening to music, and watching television. I have become very strict on having a purpose in life whether its having fun or helping others."
Yanice Melendez-Rivera (she/her)
"Hola! My name is Yanice (juh-NEES) and I’m a twenty-four year old prospective Speech-Language Pathologist. I will attend grad school for Speech-Language Pathology in the fall of 2021 at ODU.
I’ve lived in the Hampton Roads community for at least eleven years of my life collectively. However, Puerto Rico is my homeland. The little island has so much culture in and of itself and experiencing both cultures (Puerto Rican and American) throughout my life has opened up my mind and given me a different outlook on the ways people live and how I want to live."
Diego Feliciano
"My name is Diego Feliciano and I am currently a Junior. My major is in Finance with Actuarial Science. I was born and raised in Bolivia, but have lived in Virginia for 5 years.
I have been involved with other organizations on campus such as SGA, Model UN, RHA, LSA and been on the E-board for some of them.
I am quite happy to take this opportunity as I really want to make a big change on campus and be able to address the problems of our communities correctly."
