Short-term Program

Seminar format

We also wanted to include a version of Freshman First that is longer than the original First Class but shorter than our proposed year-long version. The short-term Freshman First program would be a two week long seminar that would connect our freshman. We would still provide students with the same information that would be given in the year long-program. However, we want to deliver the information in a more engaging manner.

The Short-term program would be similar to the Freshman Service Experience, in which we would move our freshman in two weeks before the semester starts. Unlike the Freshman Service Experience, we want to include all on-campus freshmen, rather than just a select few. This will give students the opportunity to become familiarized with on-campus life and school resources without the stress of starting classes.
