Our Team built BreachWatch a shared frustration with how overwhelming and unclear data breaches can be for everyday users. As students studying Cybersecurity and IT related fields, we've developed the technical skills to understand how breaches happen and what people should do - but what stood out to us is that most users are never given simple, actionable steps to actually protect themselves. We chose to solve this because we've experienced that confusion firsthand, and we know there had to be a better, more practical way to bridge the gab between awareness and action.
What binds us together is a common goal: making cybersecurity accessible, clear, and useful in everyday life. We're not just building a tool - we are building something we would use overselves. Our strength comes from combining our technical knowledge with a strong focus on user experiences, ensuring BreachWatch delivers personalized, real-time guidance in a way that's easy to understand. What makes our team stand out is our commitment to simplicity in a complex space - we don't just identify risks, we help people confidently act on them.
