So you have successfully completed your freshman year and now it is time to move up the totem pole!  The 10th grade schedule consists of 7 courses: English, math, science, social studies, and 3 electives.  This year is all about setting yourself up for as many options as possible for your junior and senior year.  If you are considering applying for one of our CTE programs through Lex La-Ray or Summit Technology Academy we encourage you to use your elective choices to complete your PE, Fine Art, or other prerequisites for those programs.  If you are interested in a Health Sciences career talk to your science teacher about doubling up on science this year by taking Biology and Chemistry together so you can take more advanced sciences in 11th grade.  Summer school is a great opportunity to earn your Public Speaking and Personal Finance credits too!
