Odessa High School offers different options for students to earn credit during summer school. OHS staff will offer virtual courses and in-person credit recovery. We will continue to offer virtual courses through Fueled by Launch out of Springfield Public Schools in June and/or July. Students can participate in one or both types of sessions but are limited to only two classes per monthly session. Please see the information below regarding each type of program and how to register.
Students may attend more than one session of summer school at a time but may only earn up to 1 credit during each session, and up to 2 credits total during the summer. All courses taken will be transcribed on the high school transcript and will be counted towards graduation requirements and GPA. The withdrawal date for OHS Virtual Courses is May 27th. The withdrawal date for Fueled by Launch virtual summer sessions is by 4pm on the second day of classes (June 3rd and July 8th).
If you have any questions please contact the OHS Counseling Center @ 816.633.5533.
