Apply Missouri is a program that helps high school seniors prepare for college by providing hands-on assistance with the college application process. OHS school counselors will host an Apply Missouri event 10/29/25 in the OHS library for interested seniors.

Summit Tech Academy (Lee's Summit, MO)
OHS hosts a presentation for students on Summit Technology Academy in January. STA enrollment is available to juniors and seniors pursuing an accelerated academic experience. Working in a college environment, students deeply experience an industry-aligned curriculum meeting both industry and university standards. OHS partners with STA to provide an opportunity to guide student academics into high-demand careers.

Odessa High School was host to an annual College & Career Fair for OHS and Lafayette County High School juniors and seniors. Over 50 college and career school representatives participated and 500 students from OHS and surrounding Lafayette County schools were invited to attend.
ACADEMIC AWARD CEREMONY
Wednesday, November 19, 2025
Odessa High School presented the Academic Letter Award to 157 students at a ceremony held on November 19, 2025. Students become eligible by achieving a 3.5 or above GPA and no semester letter grade below B- during the 2024-2025 school year. The first time a student earns this honor they are awarded an academic letter, excellence bar, and a certificate. Those qualifying for the second, third or fourth year receive a certificate and a continued excellence bar. A reception for recipients and their guests followed the ceremony.

OHS staff & students collaborate with Odessa Community Service Center by hosting an annual food drive to assist local families. This year OHS collected grocery essentials to prepare 67 meals!
