Multi-factor authentication (MFA), sometimes referred to as two-factor authentication (2FA), is a security method that requires users to provide two or more forms of identification to access an account or system.
This layered approach significantly enhances security by making it much harder for unauthorized individuals to gain access, even if one authentication factor is compromised.
As a security measure, admin accounts in the Odessa system are required to have multi-factor authentication enabled.
This page explains how to setup MFA on your account.
When you attempt to login you will see this prompt.

The easiest method of 2FA is to receive a token via text message.
Select Text Message and click Next
Enter your phone number and click Next
Enter the six digit token you received as a text message, and click Next
This screen confirms that MFA is setup correctly.
From here you can change your MFA method and generate backup codes as a third method of authentication.
An alternate method of MFA is to use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator. This is a free download in the app store.
To add an account for MFA using an authenticator app, scan the QR code from the target app or website, and the authenticator app generates a new six-digit token code every 30 seconds that is unique for the target app or website.
You then enter the token code into the target app.
Select Authenticator App
Scan the QR code from the Odessa MFA setup screen into the authenticator app, and enter the token generated by the authenticator app.
This screen confirms that MFA is setup correctly.
