We stress that all wrestlers compete at a weight where they feel healthy and strong. If you choose to lose weight, it must be done in a safe and sensible manner. The best way to lose weight is to eat things that are not preserved, low in bad fats, and low in sugar.   The other key is to stay hydrated by drinking water. 

You are also fully responsible to make the weight at which you agreed. You must know and understand the weight certification rules and your weight loss plan.  If you are unable to maintain your weight in a safe manner, you will not be allowed to compete at that weight class.
