Effective Leadership Skills
There are numerous resources on effective leadership and how leaders can bring about positive change in a workplace, in a community organization, or in political arenas across the world. For years, researchers have studied leaders and their actions to answer these questions: What makes a good leader? What qualities and skills do you need to lead?

How to be a great leader

There are so many best-selling books, websites, podcasts, YouTube videos and resource upon resource on effective leadership. Yet, not everyone aspires to lead, nor do all effective leaders look the same. It is important to consider which qualities and priorities fit with you, your personality, and your context.
Things to consider:
Which qualities or principles of leadership do you think you already demonstrate in your relationships at home, school, work, team, etc?
Which qualities do you think would match your personality and skills, yet you don't currently practice?
Which qualities do you think would be difficult for you to adopt?
Record your answers in your Student Workbook.
