How do I view myself? How do others view me? How do others' views of me impact my identity? How do I impact others' sense of self? We wanted students to understand that we all have an impact on each other's identity, and others have an impact on ours.

Therefore, students wrapped up the unit by exploring who their social influencers are, listing information that they know (without making assumptions) about those influencers' identities, and thinking about how those influencers may have an impact on the identity that the students have formed up to this point in their lives. This provided opportunities to discuss the importance of self and recognizing that individuality is incredibly important to value and embrace.
