Vogue

This Vogue Magazine coverpage really caught my eye with its vibrant colours and attention grabbing typography.

Greenhawk

This Greenhawk Equestrian Sport flyer really caught my eye with its colour correlation, and the important information in a larger sized font.

Gucci

This advertisement caught my eye because if their style. This "e - boy / aesthetic" type of style has recently become very popular, and a style that I somewhat dress like. I was able to connect with this ad, as I like to wear this type of clothing.

Heinz

This advertisement caught my eye with their use of imagery on the bottle of ketchup.

The products that are being offered are tips on riding, a professional riders tips and tricks, and discounted tack items.

Who is the target audience?

The target audience are equestrians.

Where would you expect to see this advertisement?

I would expect to see this type of advertisement in book stores and horse-based events.

What kind of lighting are you going to use to make this look professional?

I used outside lighting for this photo, as an entire studio would not be possible to use for livestock.

What props do you need?

A person, horse, and background. I also used a reflector and a bag on a stick to get the horse's ears up to look attentative.

Write your artistic statement explaining your influences, artistic process, and photographic/digital manipulation techniques that you used.

I based my advertisement off an assortment of ads and magazine covers. I used Canva for the typography because none of Photoshop caught my eye, or fit the photo in my opinion.

1. What part of your finished project did you find most successful and why?

I think that the photography was most succesful. The horse was super coopertive, and the model was amazing.

2. What part of your finished project did you find least successful and why?

I think that the most challenging thing about the project was coming up with ideas to add to my photo. Thinking about what to write and advertise was tricky, but overall think it turned out alright.

3. If you had to do this project again, what part would you change or improve on and why?

If given the chance to redo the project, I would probably have chosen a different photo type (potentially a studio type photo) and made it advertise a specific product ( EX. a tack brand like CWD ) instead of a few things, like a magazine.
