At the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
create a chess queen in TinkerCad
nil
there are certain rules that need to be followed in making chess pieces:
see below
the standards we will follow are:
the chessboard squares will be assumed to be 50 mm x 50 mm
4 pawns will exactly fit inside this square, therefore the base diameter of a pawn will be:
50 / 2 = 25 mm diameter for pawn
the diameter of the piece's base should measure 45% of its height
the height and diameter of the pieces are as follows:
King – 95 mm height → 95 x 50% = 47.5 mm diameter
Queen – 85 mm height → 85 x 50% = 42.5 mm diameter
Bishop – 70 mm height → 70 x 50% = 35 mm diameter
Knight – 60 mm height → 60 x 50% = 30 mm diameter
Rook – 55 mm height → 55 x 50% = 27.5 mm diameter
Pawn – 50 mm height → 50 x 50% = 25 mm diameter
here is a video to help create a queen

create a queen with the above rules
ENSURE you take screenshots throughout the entire process
you need to show all your steps!
submit it to be printed out
ensure ou once again, start from your pawn!
create a queen that has a "curvy" crown, not looking like a rook!
