Welcome students and parents of 802, 807, 809, 810, 811 and 812!

Students, I look forward to teaching you this year as you continue to grow and learn as Grade 8's! Please use this website as a resource for assignment and test reminders, and to catch up on missed work when you are absent from school. With Religion and Social Science being only three times a week, I may see you on Thursday and then not again until Tuesday, which is why you cannot wait until the next class to find out what you have missed. My expectation is that you will consult this website and be caught up by the next class. If it was a handout missed, please come see me the day you return to school and I will have a copy waiting in the bin dedicated to your class.

Parents, as mentioned above, I will be posting what we do each day in class for those who have missed lessons and I expect students to check in when they have missed a day of school. I am happy to help your child catch up on missed work when they return to school, and am always available at lunch hours to provide extra help as I know that learning in a second language can be challenging. My preferred method of communication is by email, but if you would rather speak on the phone please send me an email at jessica.proulx@ocsb.ca with your phone number and I am happy to call and discuss your child's needs.
